NID’s newest Board member knows media – traditional media, social media, media planning, buying and branding. As the senior director of marketing for Comcast Interactive Media (CIM), Tom Carusona is responsible for the development and implementation of all strategic and tactical marketing strategies for CIM products, including Xfinity.com, xfinityTV.com and the Xfinity TV mobile App.
Prior to joining Comcast, he worked as media supervisor at several ad agencies in New York and Philadelphia.
“We were seeking a board member with the savvy and experience to help us navigate an increasingly complex communications landscape,” said Executive Director Barbara Dundon. “We are fortunate to have found Tom.”
A recent graduate of Leadership Philadelphia’s core class, Tom chose education in general and Need in Deed in particular as the focus for his philanthropic and leadership skills.
“I am thrilled to be joining the board of Need in Deed. I believe this is an excellent opportunity to help children become excited about school and the communities they live in. I hope to contribute my strengths as a marketer to the organization and I’m excited to get started."
